Welcome New Patients

Welcome to Advanced Foot and Ankle Center Inc., where you’ll receive expert foot care above and beyond your expectations. Our doctors and staff are committed to providing you with everything you need to feel comfortable, confident, and completely at ease with your experience. We firmly believe that it is not only important to offer quality care, but to also make sure our patients get the type of top-notch service they deserve. That’s why Dr. Raymond A. DiPretoro Jr. and Dr. Anthony Caristo welcome any questions new patients may have. After all, the more they can get to know you, the better they can take care of you. Plus, the more information you have, means the less anxiety you will feel.

Before We Meet

Prepare for your appointment by writing down any questions you may have and by making a list of your current medications. Plan on bringing your insurance information along with a photo ID. It helps if you have your medical background ready to share, and transfer medical records, including previous x-rays, to our office beforehand. Also, bring along the shoes you wear most frequently. If your foot problems stem from exercise, be sure to include the shoes you wear for those specific activities. In addition, if you wear orthotic devises or shoe inserts, bring those with you too. These items help the doctor to assess your needs. Following these suggestions prior to your visit will help facilitate the initial process involved in welcoming you as a new patient.

What to Expect at Your First Visit

At your first visit with us, the focus will be on establishing a good foundation for our relationship. We will ask for information about your medical history, as well as talk to you about your lifestyle, hobbies and interests. This will allow us to get to know you, as well as shed some light on things like inherited traits, injuries specific to certain activities in which you participate, and medical concerns like allergies to medicines. At this time you can also let the doctors know if you are experiencing any symptoms. Gathering this information helps us to determine the needs of your feet, and enables us to provide you with the best care possible.

Getting to Know Each Other

It’s important for us to get to know you, but it’s just as important for you to get to know our doctors. You can do this by visiting our Staff page to learn about the accreditation and expertise of the podiatrists here at Advanced Foot and Ankle Center Inc. You will see that your feet are in good hands!
